Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium-sized peeled and grated sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup of basmati rice
  • 4 cups of full-fat milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Chopped pistachios for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook basmati rice in water until it is soft.
  2. Boil milk in a separate pan and add grated sweet potatoes to it. Cook until they are soft.
  3. Add cooked rice, sugar, and cardamom powder to the milk mixture and simmer until it is thick.
  4. Garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
